Sea The Stars filly. Half-sister to 1¼m winner Antelope. Dam, winner up to 1¼m (2-y-o 6f/7f winner), sister to smart 6f/7f winner Piping Rock. Bred to make an impact as a juvenile and is in good hands. Worth a market check on debut.

Made an unpromising start when last of 6 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to firm, 20/1) on debut 34 days ago. Needs to leave that form well behind.

Ghaiyyath filly is bred more for stamina but made a highly encouraging start when second of 10 in novice at Newmarket (7f, good to firm, 5/4) on debut 21 days ago, ran green but impressed in pulling clear of the remainder late on. Group 1 entered and the one to beat stepping up to 1m.

Bred to be smart but was very green when sixth of 9 in novice at Kempton (7f) on debut 30 days ago, not knocked about having effectively lost all chance after a slow start. Should be capable of better upped in trip on turf debut.

Makes plenty of appeal on paper and produced a promising effort when fourth of 10 in novice at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) on debut 21 days ago, stayed on to finish just over 3 lengths behind Enchanted Queen. Shapes as though this extra furlong will suit and may well improve for top yard.

€110,000 yearling. Sea the Stars filly. Closely related to several useful winners, dam winner up to 1¼m. Not without hope on paper but newcomers from this yard typically need their first run.

St Mark's Basilica filly. Half-sister to 11f winner Miss Wong. Dam, winner up to 1½m (2-y-o 1m winner), half-sister to useful 2-y-o 1m winner (stays 13.5f) Ching Shih out of smart winner up to 1½m (2-y-o 1m winner) Madame Chiang. Yard knows this family well and market should guide on debut.

Forecasts

Enchanted Queen (4/7), On Message (11/4), Sea The Storm (14/1), Izz'nt She Hot (14/1), Shangri La (18/1), Annastarzy (33/1), Cherry Baker (50/1)

Verdict

ENCHANTED QUEEN still holds an entry in the Group 1 Fillies' Mile next month and is fancied to get off the mark following her promising second on debut at Newmarket 3 weeks ago. On Message finished fourth in the same Newmarket novice and should improve for the step up to 1m, while Izz'nt She Hot was considerately handled following a slow start on her debut at Kempton and could make more of an impact here on turf.
