Progressive filly who completed the hat-trick on nursery debut at Newmarket (7f, good) last month, with the re-opposing Goldie Bear back in fourth. Probably capable of better still and she's a big player despite now being 4 lb higher in a more competitive race.

Left debut form behind when landing a 13-runner Nottingham maiden in June and progressed again when following up in a novice event at Newbury (6f, firm) a few weeks later. However, will need to raise her game another notch now switched to a nursery if she's to complete the hat-trick.

Showed the benefit of her debut experience when taking a 10-runner Haydock novice in July. Travelled strongly for most of the way when a joint-second at Ripon (6f, good) since and there's a good chance that she'll have more to offer now venturing down the nursery route.

Landed the odds with minimum fuss on debut in 4-runner maiden at Wolverhampton (5f) in April. Didn't do much wrong when third in listed company next time, but has struggled both starts since and needs to get back on track for new yard now trying her hand in a nursery.

Confirmed debut promise with a smooth success at Windsor last month and, though turned over by the re-opposing March Ahead when odds-on for a Carlisle novice (5.8f, good to firm) next time, the winner rather had the run of things that day. In good hands and opening mark looks fair.

125,000 gns Showcasing filly who found just one too good on her introduction at Newbury before going one better in a 6f Yarmouth maiden. However, limitations were seemingly exposed at Chester last time and yard saddles a more appealing candidate in Gwen John.

Performed to a similar level on first 2 starts before making it third time lucky with a narrow verdict over Gwen John at Carlisle. Unlikely that she will be given such an easy time of things on the sharp end here, though, and improvement needed on this nursery debut.

Placed all 4 starts to date, but he doesn't look especially progressive and several of the others arrive with more compelling credentials.

Stepped up on previous efforts when second in an 8-runner Thirsk novice (5f, good to firm), but another sizeable step forward will be needed if she's to go one better here. Rogue Temptation appears to be the stable first-string.

Successful start to her career at Southwell in April, but hasn't kicked on switched to turf since and, unless the recent wind operation has sparked improvement, she will likely come up short once more.

Took a step forward when third in a 6f York novice on her penultimate start, but subsequent nursery debut fifth behind Half Sovereign at Newmarket leaves her with a fair bit to find.

Always behind starting out in a 6f Ripon novice at the beginning of last month and has followed that with a couple of creditable efforts in defeat, latterly when third in a 9-runner contest over the same C&D. Open to improvement now tried in a nursery.

Forecasts

Half Sovereign (9/4), Gwen John (7/2), Rogue Temptation (9/1), Brisk Symphony (9/1), Concert (11/1), Goldie Bear (12/1), Love Olivia (12/1), Isle of Fernandez (14/1), Miss Piggle (16/1), Siouxpersonic (18/1), Bearin Up (18/1), March Ahead (22/1), If I Could Dream (33/1)

Verdict

The most appealing of these is ROGUE TEMPTATION, who lost little caste in defeat when dead-heating for second place in the Ripon novice won by Dandana. The winner did that form no harm when fourth in the Gimcrack next time and Edward Bethell's charge remains open to improvement. That remark also applies to the progressive Half Sovereign and she is feared most ahead of Gwen John, who is taken to reverse last month's Carlisle placings with March Ahead.
