Looked a good prospect when winning first 2 starts last spring. Well held in 3 subsequent starts in 2024 (Group 2 and 2 handicaps) but top yard perseveres and it'll be interesting to see what the betting makes of him back from 12 months off (been gelded).

Improver stepped up to 1¼m, winning fast-ground handicaps here and at Windsor at the start of the summer. Pulled up having reportedly lost his action at Glorious Goodwood since. Remains open to improvement.

Has looked a good prospect when winning maiden and handicap over 9f at Hamilton on his last 2 outings. A 5 lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid with further progress highly likely.

Course winner. 22/1, shaped encouragingly when sixth of 15 in C&D handicap at the recent Ebor meeting, faring best of those held up. Cheekpieces back on.

Three-time winner for Ollie Sangster who has been in good form for present stable, chasing home a couple of highly progressive 3-y-os in the Racing League at Newcastle before a near miss over C&D at the Ebor meeting.

Winner on novice at Leicester in July. 5¾ lengths fifth of 7 to reopposing Danger Bay in handicap (3/1) at Hamilton (9f, good to firm) 26 days ago. Top stable couldn't be in much better form.

A good handicap which may be best narrowed down to the progressive 3yos. GUNSHIP was significantly better than the result at Royal Ascot and can show he's ahead of his mark back from 12 weeks off with cheekpieces added. There could be plenty more to come from Danger Bay who is second choice ahead of Dante's Lad. Dark Moon Rising has run a few promising races here this summer and may fare best of the older brigade.
