Got off the mark for current yard at Doncaster in June and caught the eye when sixth of 17 in handicap at York (7.9f, good to firm) 16 days ago, faring best of those held up. A likely player eased 1 lb.
Scored at Carlisle in June and not disgraced when eighth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 50/1) 9 days ago. This C&D winner is not taken lightly off a 2 lb lower mark here.
Resumed winning ways over C&D in August and backed it up with a good fourth of 7 in handicap at Ripon (8f, good to firm) 12 days ago, short of room over 1f out. Can go well again off the same mark.
Already a five-time winner (around 1m) this year, latest at Nottingham in July. Not discredited when fifth of 8 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good to firm) 28 days ago given he went off too hard, so not ruled out by any means.
A fair 1m juvenile winner but he came in last of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good) in April on his final run for Charlie Appleby. Hooded for new yard with something to prove after a break.
Bagged 1m Southwell novice in April. Off 8 weeks/gelded before a creditable sixth of 13 in handicap there (8.1f) 55 days ago. Can take a step forward now.
Consistent in handicaps this year without winning, though he came in just 15th in 1m2f Goodwood handicap last time when tried in cheekpieces. No surprise to see him bounce back with headgear quickly dispensed with.
Resumed with victory at Windsor in April but he came in only sixth of 8 in handicap at Newbury (8f, firm) 58 days ago. Needs to bounce back after a break.
Got off the mark at the third time of asking in 14-runner novice at Carlisle (7.8f, good) 58 days ago. Much respected now going into handicaps with few miles on the clock.
On a long losing run but this C&D winner comes here in good nick, fifth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (10f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Must enter calculations once more.

Forecasts
Magellan Cloud (10/3), Duke's Command (5/1), Leadenhall (5/1), Tele Red (6/1), Dixieland Blues (7/1), Sea Founder (9/1), Comanche Warrior (9/1), Two B Tanned (12/1), On The River (14/1), Present Times (66/1)
A wide open finale but DUKE'S COMMAND shaped well when sixth in a big-field York handicap last time and can bag a second success for David O'Meara here off a 1 lb lower mark. Leadenhall wasn't seen to ideal effect when fourth at Ripon recently and this C&D scorer heads the list of dangers, atlhough the handily-weighted duo Tele Red and On The River can both have a say too. Two B Tanned and Magellan Cloud complete the shortlist.
