In fine heart over a variety of trips earlier this season, notching third career success at Epsom (8.5f) in July. Unfancied in the betting and found his good form coming to a halt when well-beaten at Brighton. Upped markedly in trip but can still be competitive off this mark if bouncing back.

3-time C&D winner bounced back to his best to take advantage of his falling mark when successful at Newbury (12f) in July. Little impact in stronger contests since and while competitive off this sort of mark on the all-weather previously, he may prove vulnerable for win purposes.

Third in a Lingfield novice (8f) in November and matched that form when third on seasonal/handicap debut at Nottingham (10.2f) in April, though hung badly left. Again didn't look straightforward when last at Newbury in July and remains to be seen if he proves more tractable having been gelded.
Won at Chester in June and cemented excellent start for new yard subsequently, runner-up in a much stronger race at Ascot and matched that form back down in grade when third of 8 in handicap (7/2) at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 16 days ago. Low-mileage and remains on a workable mark. Solid claims.
Hasn't been largely consistent barring a blip on softer ground at Yarmouth on penultimate start. Raced enthusiastically and back to form when fourth of 7 in handicap at Brighton (11.9f, good) 28 days ago. Should give another good account.
Off the mark in 7-runner maiden at Southwell (1m) in March and found improvement upped in trip on turf debut (after 5 months off) when landing a 6-runner handicap at Goodwood (12f)13 days ago, relishing the emphasis on stamina. Respected in bid for hat-trick under a good-value apprentice.

A tricky puzzle. TEAM PLAYER has made an excellent start for new connections and shaped as though still on a workable mark when third at Wolverhampton earlier this month. He's narrowly preferred to hat-trick seeking Sibling Rivelry who relished the increased emphasis on stamina at Goodwood and may benefit from a return to positive tactics in a race where the pace looks uncertain, while her stablemate Aiming High is admirably consistent and should go well back down in grade.
