Course winner but that was back in August 2023 and he hasn't added to it since. Last of 6 in handicap at Ripon (9.8f, good, 11/2) 20 days ago but this trip is at least more suitable and he's down in class.

Gained third win of a productive 2025 in 8-runner handicap (16/1) at Nottingham (8.3f, soft) 24 days ago, despite being slowly away. Up 4 lb but he can remain competitive.
Capitalised on much-reduced mark at Redcar in June and also went in again back there last month. 7/2, sixth of 9 in handicap at Redcar (8f, good to firm) 15 days ago, shaping a little better than the end result suggests. Cheekpieces removed.
10/3, below form fourth of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (7f, good to soft) 87 days ago. Up in trip. Has work to do given he's still 3 lb above last successful mark.
Won a C&D handicap for the second time in May. 16/1, respectable sixth of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (9f, good) 33 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals having raced freely early.
C&D winner. 11/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Pontefract (8f, good) 18 days ago. That was a step up on his previous efforts this season and he's edging down the weights. One to consider.
C&D winner. 11/1, career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good) 12 days ago, kept up to work. Expected to be bang there up just 1 lb returned to favoured venue.
12/1, won 10-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago, driven out. That was his third course win and he can remain competitive.
C&D winner. 3/1, 4½ lengths seventh of 10 to Sunny Orange in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago. That was a shade disappointing given promise of run over 7.5f here prior to that.

Forecasts
Mudamer (3/1), This Years Love (11/2), Park Street (11/2), Captain Corelli (11/2), Sunny Orange (13/2), Coolree (9/1), Onemorenomore (10/1), Eeetee (12/1), Soames Forsyte (16/1)
Triple-course winner THIS YEARS LOVE got off the mark for the season at Carlisle 12 days ago and from just 1 lb higher, he holds sound follow-up claims. Captain Corelli usually comes good around this time of year so he's a threat, along with Soames Forsyte.
