Winning start for this yard in the Victoria Cup at Ascot in May. Another good run in a valuable handicap there when third of 17 on penultimate outing but possibly found the racing coming too soon at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago. New mark has kicked in but plenty to like returned to turf.
Consistent handicapper who ran with credit again when second of 3 in 7.5f Beverley handicap last month. Not in the same form at Glorious Goodwood since and others more appealing.
Improved to win at Carlisle in May and should have added to that tally when just failing at Beverley last month, meeting trouble. Found run of good form coming to a halt at Glorious Goodwood since but she's the type to bounce back quickly.
Registered his second victory of the campaign at Newmarket in June but not in the same form on both subsequent outings, typically going without much fluency there just under 2 weeks ago. Dropped 1 lb but he looks in need of more severe headgear.
Dual winner last spring and put in good shifts on first 3 starts of this season. Quickly put a lesser effort behind when third of 10 at Ascot on penultimate start but was never involved back there (8f, good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago. Quickly drops back in grade.
Arrives in good form, having no luck in running when seventh of 10 in claimer at Chester (7.6f, firm) 11 days ago (denied a run final 1f). Place claims probably the best he can hope for returned to handicap company.
Had been in good heart for a while and ended losing run stretching back more than a year in battling fashion in 13-runner handicap at Yarmouth (8f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago, having this promising claimer on board making the difference. Looks sure to go well again from just 2 lb higher.
Suited by strong pace when doubling his tally for the season at Pontefract (1m) in June. Found a competitive environment too much at Yarmouth 3 weeks ago but more like it returned to calmer waters at Redcar since. Others preferred in this grade.

JIMMY SPEAKING opened his account for the season under this rider at Yarmouth 3 weeks ago and nudged up just 2 lb for that success, Chris Dwyer's 4-y-o gets the nod to follow up. His main threat may emerge from Hickory, who possibly found the race coming too soon at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and this return to turf should see him in a better light. Sole-mare Zapphire looks best of the remainder.
