Won a maiden at Brighton over 7f in July. Finished sixth of 7 in a handicap at Newbury (9/1) 15 days ago, racing too freely and weakening inside the final furlong. Wears cheekpieces for the first time and drop in grade will certainly help his cause.
Foaled April 18. 1,000 gns yearling. Advertise gelding. First foal out of a dam of little account. Cheap purchase and others more persuasive on debut.
Continued progressive thread when second of 8 in a novice at Chester (6f) in May. Fifth of 7 in a handicap at York (6f) (7/1) 27 days ago, held up and made little impression. First-time cheekpieces and step up to 7f could bring about improvement eased in grade.
Poor form in six starts, finishing last of 5 in handicap at Musselburgh (16/1) 17 days ago, no extra when pushed along. Step up in trip unlikely to help.
Won a 7f maiden at Doncaster 3 weeks ago before finishing second of 5 switched to a nursery at Carlisle on Monday, not quite seeing out the longer trip. Likely to appreciate return to 7f.
Won 5f AW maiden on debut but struggled in higher class after. More like it in nurseries of late, third of 7 in handicap at Ripon (10/1) 10 days ago, ridden with more restraint over 6f and kept on to take third late on. Whether 7f will suit is up for debate.
Shown nothing in both starts, ninth of 10 at Newcastle (150/1) 13 days ago, now hood removed.
Finished 4th of 7 in a novice race at Thirsk on debut (100/1), then fifth of 9 in a maiden at Southwell (22/1) 26 days ago when making headway late on. Bred for longer trips so this increased emphasis on stamina will help.

Forecasts
Homestrait (10/11), Snake Charmer (9/2), Going Commando (5/1), Social Exclusion (13/2), Queen Leila (12/1), The Floors Munky (28/1), El Carrusel (33/1), Power Supreme (80/1), Bobbys Pride (200/1)
GOING COMMANDO's Chester second looks a good piece of form in the context of this and with 7f sure to suit fitted with first-time cheekpieces, he could be the answer. Snake Charmer and Social Exclusion could both do with settling better but are still feared most.
