Fairly useful gelding. Creditable third of 10 in C&D handicap (8/1) 42 days ago. Looks sure to gain a first career success in the coming weeks, but conceding weight to 3-y-os back in novice company is a big ask.
Twice-raced maiden. 150/1, seventh of 13 in maiden at Ffos Las (8f, good) 28 days ago. Easy enough to look elsewhere.
170,000 gns yearling, Australia gelding. Dam unraced sister to useful 5f/6f winner Kassia. Lots to like on paper and it will be interesting to see how he shapes up in the betting.
Once-raced maiden. 80/1, twelfth of 13 in maiden at Ffos Las (8f, good) on debut 28 days ago. Probably more one for handicaps further down the line.
Once-raced maiden. 12/1, sixth of 7 in novice at Haydock (7f, firm) on debut. Off 14 months and he's another who will be of greater interest in handicaps further down the line.
130,000 gns foal, 150,000 gns yearling, Persian King gelding. Closely related to useful winner up to 1m Qazaq. Obvious appeal on paper for his leading yard and confidence behind him in the betting would look significant.
16,000 gns foal, 18,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to several winners, including 2-y-o 6f winner Royal Grey and Fountain Cross, who was successful at up to 9.5f. Yard is not synonymous with first-time-out winners and watching brief advised on this occasion.
Thrice-raced maiden. 10/1, tenth of 11 in maiden at Lingfield (7f, good) 4 days ago. Showed signs of ability on penultimate start, but it's somewhat surprising that connections are continuing with this route, given that she's now eligible for handicaps.
Promising type. Second of 5 in novice at Haydock (8f, good to firm, 18/1) 18 days ago. Appeals as the type to keep progressing and she should make a bold bid to make it third time lucky here.
Once-raced maiden. 80/1 and hooded, ninth of 14 in novice at this course (7f) on sole 2-y-o start, very slowly away. Probably more one for handicaps in due course.

Forecasts
Raammee (10/11), Vronti (9/4), Port Road (11/2), Canopus (10/1), Kings College (14/1), Why Because (40/1), Havanita (80/1), Chalke Valley (100/1), Tresca (125/1), Whiskey Sunrise (150/1)
This looks ripe for VRONTI, who built on her debut promise when finding just one too good at Haydock recently and this well-bred filly remains open to improvement. Port Road again shaped well when third in a C&D handicap last time and, though 0-13, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with his attitude and his turn is surely very near. Likely-looking newcomers Canopus and Raammee are both appealing on paper and need close attention in the betting.
