Has a C&D win and has shaped better than the bare result in two starts this season, finished fifth of 8 in handicap at Hamilton (6/1) 61 days ago, making late headway after dwelling at start. Return to this C&D a plus and could go well.
Failed to land a blow when 7th of 10 in handicap at Carlisle (22/1) 18 days ago and remains winless after 11 starts.
Won a handicap at this C&D (9/4) 22 days ago before finishing eighth of 9 at Hamilton (4/1) over 8f 16 days ago when not suited by shorter trip. Should appreciate return to this C&D.
Produced best effort of the season when narrowly beaten at this course and distance three weeks ago. Fourth of 9 in handicap at this C&D (13/2) 7 days ago, not getting a clear run when shuffled back before staying on. Can race lazily but clearly handles this track and trip well.
Posted a couple of creditable placed efforts prior to winning a 9-runner handicap over course and distance (6/1) 7 days ago, asserting in the final 100 yards having travelled strongly. Seems to reserve best efforts for this track and remains unexposed at this trip.
Maiden finished seventh of 10 in 13f handicap at Hamilton (22/1) 11 days ago, underperforming despite refitting of headgear. Drops back to 10f with Danny Tudhope aboard first time but looks less than straightforward.
Showed promise in 10f handicaps, finishing close up at Leicester and Wetherby in June. Seventh of 8 in handicap at Hamilton Park over 11f (4/1) 16 days ago, unsuited by emphasis on speed and considerately handled when held. Could be worth another chance based on previous form.
Shown modest form in maidens before finishing third of 7 at Ripon (15/2) 9 days ago, plugging on but well beaten. Step up to 10f could suit on breeding but improvement to find on form.
Shown no ability in three starts in maidens, fifth of 7 in Hamilton maiden (250/1) 47 days ago when pulling too hard. Difficult to fancy unless market speaks more favourably on handicap debut.
Has shown little in seven career starts and was sixth of 8 in handicap at Musselburgh (18/1) in first-time blinkers 6 days ago, making no impact.
Poor in all 4 starts, including on handicap debut when 10th of 12 in C&D handicap (33/1) 22 days ago. Hood off today but marked improvement needed.

ZEBRA STAR has shown improved form in recent weeks, winning over C&D 7 days ago after travelling strongly and asserting in the final 100 yards. She seems to reserve her best efforts for this track and is unexposed at the trip. Lights Go Down is worth another chance having been unsuited by the emphasis on speed last time, while Cisco Disco continues in good heart and clearly enjoys this C&D despite being somewhat unreliable. Of the rest, Dingwall is better than he's been able to show this season.
