5f maiden winner at Cork last season but lost his way in handicaps for Jim Bolger this season, latest when well held over this trip at the Curragh in a first time tongue strap (retained). Will need to be back to his best to make an impact on stable debut.

Landed a hat-trick of 6f victories upped in grade at Epsom 16 days ago, quickening clear approaching final furlong and pushed out near finish. Remains lightly-raced and contests a similar grade over this extra furlong. Respected in bid for 4-timer.

Proved his ability still intact on reappearance when third behind a couple of useful types in a 6f Pontefract novice. Well backed on handicap debut (following 10 weeks off) but could only match that form finishing fourth of 14 at Hamilton (6f) last month. Could take a step forward now upped to 7f.

Built on promise shown at Sandown on penultimate start when getting off the mark for the season in a 3-runner handicap at Chepstow (7f) earlier this month. Going the right way and is one to consider, for all this is much more competitive.

Harry Angel colt shaped very well on his return prior to being poorly drawn on handicap debut at Haydock in May. Quickly got back on track following a breathing operation, making a winning return to novice company at Doncaster (6f), going through race well. Unexposed back in a handicap over 7f.

Fairly useful 7f novice winner for William Haggas but ran below form on final start for that yard when doing too much too soon in first time cheekpieces at Newbury (7f) earlier this month. Headgear discarded for stable debut but has the form to be competitive.

Dual all-weather winner made a slow start to this season but ran much better when third at Sandown over 1m on second turf start. Had plenty on from out of the handicap when down the field in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last month, not helped by an overly aggressive ride. Needs more back over 7f.

Showed fairly useful form in Meydan on debut in 2024 and matched that on first start for Andrew Balding when third of 12 in a handicap at Newbury (7f, good to firm) earlier this month. That form hasn't worked out, but he hasn't been with excellent yard for long. Worth a market check.

Steadily improved as a juvenile and has found further progression this season, knuckling down well to land a 4-runner handicap at Brighton (7f, good) 18 days ago. Going the right way and can give another good account upped in grade.

Good type physically and again ran well over 6f when fourth in a 10-runner handicap at Chester 2 weeks ago, faring best of those held up. Previous runs over 7f have come in a much higher grade than this and he looks well worth another go at this trip. Makes appeal.

A three-time 7f juvenile winner but looks more exposed as a 3-y-o, respectable fifth in a 8-runner handicap at Redcar (10f) last month. Drops back to 7f with blinkers on for the first time but will likely need to improve to defy his current mark.

Winner over 6f at Newcastle in February but yet to match that form on turf, typically finding Class 3 company too competitive at Haydock earlier this month. Drops in grade but still has a bit to find.

Has shaped well in handicap company over longer trips this season, travelled as well as any when third at Haydock (11.6f) and better than ever when runner-up at Hamilton (8.3f) last month, again travelling powerfully in first-time visor (retained). Of firm interest back over 7f.

Second in a 1m Doncaster handicap that has produced multiple winners and went one better with cheekpieces on for first time over 7f at the same track earlier this month. Wasn't in the same form when caught further back than ideal at Haydock 8 days ago. Bit more on her plate upped in class.

Fair form when runner-up in a Chester nursery last season but is yet to fire this season, pulling too hard to last home when well beaten at Doncaster (7f) last month. Tough ask even if back on his game.

Shaped with some promise on early starts for this yard and took a small step back in the right direction when taking on his elders for the first time, finishing sixth of 9 at Pontefract (8f) 18 days ago. Remains to be seen if he can build on that dropping back to 7f.

Verdict

LEVER UP has caught the eye with the way he's moved through his races in handicaps, the latest a very encouraging second in a first-time visor at Hamilton last month. He has solid claims if the headgear has the same effect back over 7f and may be able to get off the mark at the expense of the improving Kisskodi who landed a hat-trick in a similar grade at Epsom last time, while Green Pursuit's previous runs over 7f have come in a much higher grade and he looks well worth another go at this trip.
