Better than ever dropped in grade when landing his third C&D success at Thirsk (6f) last month, showing a gutsy attitude to get back up. On a career high mark but ought to remain competitive.
Well-backed on stable debut but wasn't seen to best effect in a race that's worked out well. Again supported and back to form on third start for yard when second of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, firm) 21 days ago, clear of rest. Up 3 lb and interesting if money comes again with blinkers refitted.
Latest win at Goodwood in June off a reduced mark but ran poorly off new mark when sixth of 7 in handicap (16/1) at Chepstow (6.1f, good to firm) 16 days ago, slowly away. May need further respite from the handicapper.
Probably unlucky not to get his head in front this season and ran creditably upped in grade when fourth of 17 in handicap (4/1) at Newbury (6f, good to firm) 36 days ago, running on. Tongue strap on first time and worth another chance back down in grade.
Solid form when third of 16 in novice (150/1) at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last month and was stronger in the betting dropped to sprinting but had no chance after being snatched up 2f out at Ripon 30 days ago. Remains open to improvement on handicap debut.
Won at Wolverhampton following a 4-month break in January (has good record fresh) and back to form when second of 9 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good, 5/2) 28 days ago, bumping into a well-treated rival. Entitled to be in the mix once again.
6f winner as a juvenile and has performed creditably in handicaps this season, doing all he could upped in grade when fourth of 8 in handicap (5/1) at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 18 days ago. Should give another good account back down in grade on return to turf.
Winner at Beverley over 5f in May and bounced back from a below par run when respectable sixth of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) 22 days ago (wore first time eyeshields - retained). Chance if he can build on that stepping back up in trip.
Two-time winner at Wolverhampton and Doncaster in the spring and bounced right back to form when a close fourth of 12 in handicap at Chester (6.1f, good to firm) 35 days ago, running on. Still low mileage for a sprinter and no surprise to see him run well again.

Forecasts
Arnaz (15/8), Justcallmepete (5/1), Royal Musketeer (13/2), Trust Sergei (15/2), Forever My Prince (9/1), Pal Joey (10/1), Lord Abama (12/1), Dapperling (14/1), Hundred Caps (18/1)
A competitive sprint handicap in which class-dropping ARNAZ appeals most having shaped as though capable of defying this sort of mark a few times already this season. Pal Joey has some solid maiden form and could be open to improvement now sent handicapping, while Justcallmepete could still be on a fair mark on just his fourth start for Tony Carroll.
