Different proposition on second start when winning a Kempton novice in April and promising start to life in handicaps dropped to 5f at Musselburgh handicap earlier this month, putting in good late work to finish second of 10. On a fair mark and, with the return to 6f a plus, he's a big player.

Ended 2024 on the up with a brace of heavy-ground nursery wins and progressed again when going close on his recent seasonal reappearance at Hamilton (6f, good to soft). 3 lb rise fair and while he's evidently at home on slow ground, he was runner-up on good to firm at that same course last summer.

Beverley maiden winner at 2 yrs and back on the scoresheet at Hamilton (6f, good to soft) last month, pulling clear of the rest with the runner-up Arabian Cobra, who has won twice since. Hot on the heels of Station X when third over the same C&D recently and another bold show anticipated.

Went close on debut at Salisbury last August and went on to win back-to-back Wolverhampton novices over 6f. However, he hasn't kicked on in handicaps this season and while his mark is on the slide, others make more appeal. Cheekpieces enlisted.

Signed off 2-y-o campaign when third in a C&D nursery and has acquitted himself well in a trio of handicaps since returning to action in April. On a workable mark and he's not without each-way hope, albeit some of these make more appeal for win purposes.

Stepped up on reappearance run when making all to land a 9-runner handicap at Windsor (6f, good) last month. However, he was nearer last than first at Hamilton last time (behind Station X and Lord Roxby that day) and needs to raise his game now tried in cheekpieces.

Expert Eye filly who cosily won 7-runner maiden at Carlisle (5.8f, good to soft) on debut last summer before going close in a Newcastle novice. Haydock reappearance/handicap debut display was very low-key, though, and she's hard to warm to on the back of that.

Hit the target twice at 2 yrs, including in a valuable, big-field C&D nursery at the Ebor meeting. However, he has failed to reproduce that form since, despite adding to his tally at Newcastle during the winter, and others make more appeal.

Dual 5f winner at Chester (on soft ground) at 2 yrs and signed off that campaign with a good third in a 10-runner nursery here (also on soft). Stepped up on his first 2 efforts of this season when mid-field at Hamilton (behind Station X and Lord Roxby) 13 days ago, but looks vulnerable all the same.

This mark is a fair one judged on the pick of his 2-y-o form, but he hasn't fired in a trio of handicaps so far this season and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.

Winner of 6f maiden at Wolverhampton in March and chased home Topwarrior at Kempton next time. Now 12 lb better off with that rival and, having performed with credit when fourth back at Kempton recently, he's interesting here with William Buick in the hot-seat.

Salisbury debut winner last June and was placed 3 times on the AW during the winter. However, he hasn't shown much spark in a couple of runs since returning from a break and needs to get back on track here following a wind op.

Winner of a Pontefract novice last July and has performed reasonably well in handicaps this season, coming home sixth in a big-field C&D (good to firm) contest a fortnight ago. Down another 2 lb and it wouldn't be the biggest of surprises to see him involved in the finish.

Didn't do a great deal wrong as a juvenile, winning twice and placed on several occasions. Wasn't far behind Station X and Lord Roxby when sixth of 14 in a Hamilton handicap last time, but she will need to find improvement from somewhere in order to emerge on top here.

Yet to get his head in front, but it's surely just a matter of time before he puts that right having put in another solid shift when third in a 15-runner handicap here (5f, good to firm) 15 days ago. Return to 6f a plus and he's a key player off the same mark.

Windsor maiden winner for Stuart Williams last summer, but he hasn't threatened in several handicaps this season and looks set for another struggle.

Opened his account at Kempton in April before finishing fourth in the Windsor handicap won by Far Above The Law the following month. Best effort yet when just touched off by a progressive sprinter at Chester (6f, good to firm) last time and likely to be in the mix once again.

Successful at Pontefract in April and bettered that when third in a 9-runner Thirsk handicap won by Arabian Cobra on his penultimate start. However, she wasn't in the same form behind that rival at Chester recently, finishing around 3 lengths adrift of the re-opposing Dream Out Loud.

STATION X signed his 2-y-o campaign off on a high and looks set for another productive season judged on his recent reappearance near miss at Hamilton. The third in that handicap, Lord Roxby, looks nailed on for another big run, too, and he is feared most ahead of Farandaway, who continues to knock on the door and his latest placed effort over 5f here was arguably his best yet. The consistent Dream Out Loud and Hoodie Hoo are others to consider.
