Developed into one of the best sprinters on debut season last year, taking another big leap forward when just failing in the Sprint Cup at Haydock before going one better in Champions Sprint at Ascot. Lost all chance at the start on comeback run in France and bold bid expected under a 7 lb penalty.
Smart performer who ended 2024 on a low note but bounced back to his best to win a 7f listed race at Haydock on reappearance. However, not in same form in Group 3 there since and headgear now reached for back down in trip on AW debut.
Probably not as good as he once was but still showed smart form when third in listed race at Salisbury last month. Struggled as expected in Group 1 at Royal Ascot last week. Should make more of an impact here but still up against it.
Useful colt who won the Mill Reef on heavy ground at Newbury at 2 yrs. However, missed the following season and will find this too demanding judged on both his starts this term.
Dual C&D winner who picked up a couple of AW listed events early last year. Just respectable efforts at best within the last 12 months but has at least shown a bit more spark the last twice.
Better than ever this year, winning all 3 starts (AW handicaps), notably when showing very smart form over C&D 7 weeks ago. That performance puts him firmly in the mix tackling pattern company for the first time.
Bagged a Group 3 at Deauville last summer and returned to win a Doncaster listed race in March. Not disgraced back up in trip in Group 3 at Haydock 4 weeks ago and should remain competitive (went close in this 2 years ago).
Useful filly who resumed progress to win listed event at Salisbury 5 weeks ago, reverting to the prominent tactics that had seen her to good effect last year. Will find this harder to dominate but she's respected, nonetheless.
Ended a losing sequence with victory in 5-runner handicap at Windsor in May and proved better than ever when following up at Goodwood later that month. However, undone by rise in the weights at York since and she looks out of her depth at this level.

Kind Of Blue (85/40), Ferrous (9/4), Alyanaabi (6/1), Annaf (8/1), Spycatcher (9/1), Diligent Harry (16/1), Fair Angellica (16/1), Al Shabab Storm (16/1), Array (22/1), Havana Pusey (50/1)
The thriving FERROUS booked his place for this when producing a very smart performance to win a C&D handicap 7 weeks ago and the 7 lb he receives from penalised Group 1 winner Kind of Blue may prove decisive. Spycatcher is a solid performer at this level and looks best of the others.
