30/100

Fine third in a strong big-field handicap at York and made no mistake back in calmer waters when justifying short-priced favouritism at Salisbury (7f, good) 9 days ago. A penalty may not stop him.

Forecasts

Crimson Spirit (30/100), Great Blasket (5/2), Bell Shot (11/2), Local Bay (9/1), Revolutionise (16/1)

If CRIMSON SPIRIT is in the same form as at Salisbury he should be able to cope with a 5 lb penalty. Fellow penalised runner Great Blasket may provide the chief threat but this is a contest where a case can be made for all 5 runners.
