An interesting race despite the small field with the narrow vote in favour of JET BLACK. Andrew Balding's filly was allowed the run of things but ultimately scored with a bit in hand at Redcar 4 weeks ago and, with plenty to like about her physically, she very much appeals as the type to go on improving this term. Newbury 1-2 Zarakerjack and Channagide can provide the lead threats, in that order.
