Watch On Racing TV Grassroots Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Spring Mile winner at Doncaster (second past post but subsequently promoted) in March and back on track when fifth at Chester's May Meeting. Not so good there 48 hours later, though. Not had much racing over this sort of trip.

Won at Windsor over this trip for Charles Hills a year ago. Well backed both starts for new yard in recent weeks, running creditably without producing the fireworks favourite backers were anticipating. Latest race was messy however, and he's one to consider.

A Chester regular with a good record there. Again shaped as if still in form before the 12.3f trip stretched him there last time and he's respected off a fair mark back in distance in refitted visor.

Cost a fortune as a 2-y-o and her Kempton form last season (won 1m maiden second start) reads well. Looked rusty after 8 months off on handicap debut at Chelmsford recently and should be much sharper now switched to turf.

Fairly useful performer who was successful at Epsom on reappearance last season and has returned in good form this time around, going close in C&D handicap on return and fifth in hot Newbury contest 5 weeks ago. This is easier and he can figure.

Won at Newbury last season and ran right up to form with his reappearance behind him at Windsor 5 weeks ago, that despite not really getting the rub of the green late on. First run here and could feature.

Won at Ripon last season, and with his mark easing turned in his best effort of the season when second, beaten just a length, at Yarmouth over this trip 3 weeks ago. This is tougher.

Lightly-raced maiden not seen to best effect behind Bodorgan in messy contest at Wetherby 3 weeks ago, finishing with running left. Remains with potential.
