Duke's Command^h⁶^{(ex 5)}

Age: 4| Weight: 10-0| J: Mark Winn| T: D O'Meara| OR: 80| D

2/1

Well backed when flopping on handicap/stable debut and proved that wasn't misplaced when opening account at Doncaster (1m) on Sunday, settling better and showing a good turn of foot to come from last to first under this rider. He's clearly had his issues but he's bred in the purple and can progress.

Form: 622/71

Eagle Day⁸

Not won for a while but strong in the betting and wasted no time getting back to form turned out quickly when second at Doncaster (1m) a fortnight ago. Player if building on that.

Form: 69-3602

(4)

Master Of Combat¹¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 9-3| J: William Pyle⁽³⁾| T: K Frost| OR: 74| D

Age Of Time⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: George Downing| T: Ian Williams| OR: 72

66/1

Won Wolverhampton maiden in September 2023 but lightly raced and little form since, well beaten last week starting out for new yard having had a spell in the UAE.

Form: 615/8-08

Forecasts

Duke's Command (2/1), Helm Rock (5/2), Mudamer (7/2), Eagle Day (8/1), Lady Of Arabia (9/1), Master Of Combat (18/1), Bajan Bandit (20/1), Age Of Time (66/1)

The well-bred DUKE'S COMMAND won nicely at Doncaster on Sunday, settling better in a first-time hood, and can follow up under a penalty if in the same form. Mudamer, Lady of Arabia and last year's winner Eagle Day are the dangers.
