Dovey Moon¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: Jordan Williams⁽⁵⁾| T: P D Evans| OR: 65| D

7/2

Career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Chepstow (1m, good to firm, 5/1) 13 days ago. Readily on top so even a 7 lb rise shouldn't prevent another prominent showing.

Form: 9-54451

(6)

Sahana^h¹⁶⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: S De Sousa| T: D M Simcock| OR: 64

11/2

Showed ability but also a hint of temperament in 3 qualifying runs at the end of 2024. Betting perhaps the best guide now handicapping after 166 days off.

Lightly-raced maiden. Good seventh of 13 in handicap at Kempton (1m) 22 days ago. Has the potential for better again but possibly not until stepping up a little in trip.

Forecasts

Inquisition (15/8), Dovey Moon (7/2), Hot Like Me (4/1), Le Pelerin (9/2), Sahana (11/2), Take The A Train (12/1), Beachborough Girl (33/1)

HOT LIKE ME moved well for a long way at Newmarket last time and might be the way to go in this lower grade of handicap. Dovey Moon rates an obvious threat on the back of his comfortable Chepstow success, while Inquisition is one of a few in this line-up who could improve now moving into a handicap.
