Modest gelding. Bit below form seventh of 12 in handicap (14/1) at this C&D 14 days ago, getting going when race was all but over. However, this further drop in class can help.

Still a maiden under both codes but did close in this sphere when runner-up at Newcastle (10.2f) in March. Surpassed previous hurdles exploits when third in 6-runner Southwell maiden (15.8f) 4 weeks ago and he appeals as a likely player back on the level.
Modest maiden who probably needed the run after 20 months off and finished well held when eighth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 66/1) 10 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time but could only be considered if betting vibes proved positive.
Showed more than previously for present yard on the back of 7 months off when runner-up over 8.6f here in March. Took a backward step when sixth of 10 in handicap at Yarmouth 12 days ago but return to this company can help back on AW.
C&D winner. Latest win here (12.2F) in March. Ninth of 12 in handicap (9/1) at this course (12.2f) 50 days ago, weakening over 1f out. Back down in trip.
C&D winner. 40/1, creditable fifth of 11 in handicap at Windsor (10f, good to firm) 22 days ago, edging left final 1f and fading. Each-way claims on pick of AW form.
Course winner. Thirteen runs since last win in 2023. Respectable fifth of 12 in handicap (12/1) at this C&D 14 days ago. Doesn't find winning easy but he's more consistent than most he meets at this level and no surprise to see him give another good account.
Lightly-raced maiden who was best excused the run when eighth of 10 in handicap at this course (8.6f, 6/1) 19 days ago, forced wide throughout. Not one to write off just yet and he's worth a second look on these terms.
Winner at Redcar (10f) in April. 22/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, dispelled a couple of lesser efforts when fifth of 13 in handicap at Leicester (10f, good to firm) 7 days ago. Each-way possibilities.

Trusty Scout (2/1), Hijo De La Luna (4/1), Pending Appeal (13/2), Prince Hector (15/2), Bandello (8/1), Beaune (9/1), Cuda Been A Rowlex (10/1), Middelton (14/1), Sunset In Paris (16/1), Musterion (50/1)
There are question marks over a few and with that in mind it could be worth chancing one of the 3-y-o's in the shape of BEAUNE. He's comfortably one of the least exposed in this field and with his latest run over shorter here easily overlooked, it would come as no surprise to see him bounce back at this level. Hijo de La Luna can emerge as a lead danger should the selection fail to fire. Pending Appeal is another worth considering.
