Showed some ability on debut but hasn't built on that in subsequent novice races. Failed to justify support when 10th of 11 at Carlisle (9/2) on handicap debut 5 days ago, racing wide before weakening in the final furlong. First-time visor could spark improvement.

Two runner-up finishes and a third place in handicaps for David Loughnane. Wore first time cheekpieces when fifth of 10 in handicap on stable debut at Ripon (10/1) 6 days ago when unsuited by drop to 6f. Should prove more effective returning to 7f.
|
Best run this season when third at Wolverhampton in February but lost her race at the start when sixth of 8 in handicap at Redcar (8/1) 23 days ago, missed the break badly. One to consider returning to the scene of her sole previous victory.
|
Has finished well beaten in all 5 career starts, including over this course and distance in a maiden. Fared no better in handicaps, fifth of 9 in a handicap at Ripon (33/1) 15 days ago, racing freely and weakening when not getting a clear run. Improvement needed.
|
Has shown little of note in recent handicaps with 10 runs since sole career win, and finished 6th of 6 in handicap at Hamilton Park (66/1) 20 days ago, running poorly and hanging right throughout. Hard to make a case on recent evidence.

Forecasts
Hype Merchant (11/8), Wondrous Ways (9/4), Eye On The Prize (11/2), Yellow Dream (6/1), Unthinkable (14/1)
HYPE MERCHANT has already hit the frame in a few 7f handicaps and this could be a good opportunity to break his maiden, returning to his preferred trip after finding 6f too sharp at Ripon last time. Wondrous Ways' sole victory came at this course and she's respected in a modest contest and although Yellow Dream disappointed when well backed on handicap debut, first time headgear could now spark an improvement.
