Debut winner at this course over 5f. In first time tongue strap and cheekpieces (now discarded) when below form third of 6 in handicap (15/2) at Pontefract (6f, heavy) on final run last season. Return to better ground may help.

€40,000 Dark Angel filly. Good type physically and created a favourable impression when winning on debut at York (6f) last summer. Has had her limitations exposed in Group company since, too keen when well beaten in the Fred Darling (7f) 36 days ago. May do better back at 6f in a handicap.
Fairly useful ex-French 6f winner (best form came on testing ground) ran better than on stable debut when sixth of 13 in handicap (100/1) at this C&D (good to firm) 31 days ago. Still has plenty to find.
Justified support to make it 2-2 when landing a 10-runner novice at Redcar (6f, good to firm, 11/8) 17 days ago, looking every inch a useful filly. Open to further improvement on handicap debut.
Off the mark at fifth attempt when well suited by step up to 6f, landing a 9-runner novice at Wolverhampton in November. Visor on first time and will need to improve again on reappearance/handicap debut.
Consistent filly who didn't need to improve when making final 2-y-o start a winning one in 9-runner maiden (9/4) at Beverley (5f, good to firm) in September. Ran her best race to date after 7 months off when third in a C&D handicap last month, denied a clear run. Ought to be in the mix again.
Won first 2 starts as a juvenile and matched that form on reappearance at Pontefract this year. Failed to back that up when tenth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 21 days ago, left poorly placed. Visor on first time and questions to answers now.

Forecasts
Fluorescence (5/4), Scatter Penny (9/2), Greydreambeliever (5/1), Beaujolais Nouveau (6/1), Tropical Island (15/2), Mae Amor (16/1), La Rochette (40/1)
The unbeaten FLUORESCENCE looks a filly on the up and she can overcome a rise in grade to land the hat-trick on handicap debut. Beaujolais Nouveau shaped with plenty of credit when third over C&D on reappearance and holds solid claims, while Greydreambeliever could have more to offer back in a handicap, if racing more efficiently.
