Bounced back to form to win 13-runner handicap at this C&D (good) 14 days ago, just holding on. 2 lb rise fair and warrants plenty of respect in his follow-up bid.
Ended last season out of sorts but has gone well fresh before, so no forlorn hope returning after 6 months off from a career-low mark.
Excuses when seventh of 9 in handicap (4/1) at Musselburgh (5f, good) 15 days ago, racing wide and not knocked about. Better judged on reappearance form.
C&D winner who possibly still needed the run when last of 7 in handicap at Nottingham (5f, good to firm) last week. Has dropped to a handy mark and can't be dismissed.
5-time C&D winner who was below form when 8¼ lengths eleventh of 13 to Muker in handicap at this C&D (good, 18/1) 14 days ago. Blinkers back on.
3 wins from 7 runs this year, latest at Newcastle in February. Bounced back from a couple of lesser efforts when third of 13 in handicap (40/1) at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 12 days ago.
3-time winner in 2024 who shaped well when fifth of 14 in handicap (12/1) at Musselburgh (5f, good) 34 days ago, faring best of those ridden prominently. Must enter calculations.
Dual winner at Hamilton last season. Shaped as if needing the run on his reappearance at Wolverhampton and then had a tricky draw when well held at Beverley last time.
Scored at Nottingham in October and left reappearance form well behind when short-head third of 13 to Muker in handicap at this C&D (good) 14 days ago, finishing well. Has a slight pull at the weights with that rival and is taken to reverse the form.

Forecasts
Curious Rover (3/1), Muker (9/2), Albegone (9/2), Burning Cash (13/2), Changeofmind (8/1), Ready Freddie Go (10/1), Digital (10/1), Stash The Cash (11/1), Castan (25/1)
ALBEGONE caught the eye finishing hot on the heels of the reopposing Muker over C&D a fortnight ago and is fancied to reverse the form and come out on top now that he is slightly better off at the weights. Muker should give another good account, with Curious Rover better judged on his reappearance form having not been seen to best effect racing wide at Musselburgh on his most recent outing.
