Once-raced colt. 12/1, third of 9 in maiden at Dundalk (10.7f) on debut 44 days ago, slowly away. Open to improvement for his in-form yard and a bold show is anticipated.
Twice-raced colt. 14/1, sixth of 14 in maiden at the Curragh (9f, good to soft) when last seen 7 months ago. May well do better now upped in trip and he's one to consider in a first-time tongue strap.
Once-raced colt. 18/1, eighth of 10 in maiden at this course (10f, good to soft) on debut 32 days ago. Others make more appeal.
Once-raced colt. 9/2, sixth of 18 in maiden at Cork (10.4f, soft) on debut 22 days ago. Should progress.
Promising sort. 14/1, fourth of 10 in maiden at this course (10f, good to soft) on debut 32 days ago, shaping as though the step up to this trip would be right up his street. Big player.
Once-raced colt. Last of 10 in maiden at this course (10f, good to soft, 7/1) on debut 32 days ago. Typically well-bred colt from top yard and likely to leave that form well behind in time.
€82,000 yearling, Teofilo colt. Dam, 1¼m winner, closely related to high-class winner up to 1m (stayed 1¼m) Poetic Flare, won 2000 Guineas/St James's Palace Stakes. Worth a peek in the betting.
Lightly-raced gelding. Creditable second of 20 in maiden (7/2) at Navan (10.1f, soft) 15 days ago. Should make his presence felt.

Forecasts
Lombardi Trophy (9/4), Vorfreude (10/3), Dabashan (10/3), Delta (13/2), Roosevelt (7/1), Kasgani (18/1), Slaney Gorge (18/1), Jr Mahon (33/1)
DABASHAN and Lombardi Trophy both shaped with plenty of promise in maidens at around 1¼m on their debuts at Dundalk and this track respectively. An entry in the Irish Derby suggests that the latter is highly regarded and he is not passed over lightly. However, Dabashan was a serious eye-catcher at Dundalk and he is marginally preferred. Delta showed promise at 2 yrs and should pick up a race before long, a remark which also applies to Vorfreude, while Kasgani and Roosevelt are likely improvers.
