Thrice-raced maiden. 50/1, sixth of 13 in novice at this course (7f) 26 days ago, slowly away. Improvement very much on the cards now upped in trip for this handicap debut

Thrice-raced winner. 2/1, won 12-runner maiden at Lingfield (7f, AW) 38 days ago, bit in hand. Mark for this handicap debut looks fair and he's open to further progress.
Lightly-raced maiden. 7/2, ninth of 12 in novice at Newcastle (7.1f) 25 days ago. Needs to get back on track now handicapping.
Winner at Newcastle in February. Good second of 9 in handicap at the same course (7.1f, 4/1) 37 days ago. Return to 1m no problem for this polytrack debut and he's a leading candidate.
Twice-raced winner. 1 win from 2 runs this year. Fourth of 6 in novice (5/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 48 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time and this step up in trip for this handicap debut looks a good move. Not discounted.
Lightly-raced maiden. 25/1, eighth of 9 in handicap at this course (7f) 40 days ago. Plenty to find on form.
7/2, very good second of 10 in handicap at this course (7f) 20 days ago. 3 lb rise for that near miss is fair enough and he has to enter calculations.
Thrice-raced maiden. 25/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, sixth of 13 in novice at Windsor (6f, heavy). Off 6 months ahead of this handicap/yard debut and she needs a second look in the betting.
Thrice-raced winner. Successful at Chelmsford in November. Eighth of 10 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good, 16/1) 26 days ago, hampered. Others preferred.

Forecasts
Orchard (13/8), Saxonia (3/1), Ashen (4/1), Virtue Patience (7/1), Aviano (11/1), Shimaleyah (16/1), Bintshuaa (22/1), English Lady (25/1), Final Night (33/1), Shamador (40/1)
ASHEN shaped well on the first of his two starts on turf at 2 yrs and made an encouraging reappearance switched to the AW, finishing sixth in the 13-runner novice won by Cosmic Year. That form was given a boost when the winner, who looks potentially very smart, followed up in a listed race at Newmarket on Friday and Ashen is taken to make a winning handicap debut with this step up to a mile likely to suit. Fellow handicap debutant Virtue Patience is feared most ahead of Orchard and Saxonia.
