Dual winner at up to this trip who ended last season in good form and resumed after 6 months off with a very encouraging second of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (10.1f, good to firm) 24 days ago, collared by race-fit rival final 50 yds. One to be interested in.
5-y-o who remains a maiden but signed off 2024 with good placed efforts and returned with a creditable third of 8 in handicap (13/2) at this C&D (good) 17 days ago, keeping on. Not dismissed with that under his belt.
11/4, stepped up on return/yard debut effort when creditable second of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good) 17 days ago. Should be competitive again.
Latest win at Newcastle (1m) in November. Eighth of 9 in handicap (13/2) at Pontefract (8f, good) 15 days ago, having hopeless task from position. Steps back up in trip but others appeal more for win purposes.
Belardo gelding who posted placed efforts on 2 of last 3 starts in 2024 and improved in refitted cheekpieces/after 6 months off when winning 7-runner handicap at this course (8.3f, good, 4/1) 20 days ago. This rates tougher back up in trip but not discounted.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2023 and he was merely ticking over on AW during second half of last year. Fact he's gone well fresh a positive ahead of this at least, and the assessor has afforded him a chance.
Resumed winning ways at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in February and backed it up with a solid fourth of 9 in handicap at Lingfield (10f, AW) later that month. However, below form back on turf when twelfth of 19 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f) 31 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Latest win at Wolverhampton in March. 11/1, not done any favours by the draw when sixth of 9 in handicap back at that venue (8.6f) 28 days ago. Defied a 3 lb higher mark on turf last summer and he's best treated as still in good form.
11f winner who was unsuccessful during a light 2024 campaign. Steadily worked his way back to form from reduced mark this year, running best race for a while when third of 7 in handicap (10/1) at Beverley (12.1f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Not ruled out back at 1¼m.

Forecasts
Beach Point (11/4), Bobacious (3/1), Double Red (7/2), Whatacracker (8/1), Book Of Life (9/1), Time Tells All (9/1), Unplugged (14/1), Flatley (25/1), Jewel Maker (33/1)
BEACH POINT ran really well on the back of 6 months off when runner-up over this trip at Yarmouth 24 days ago, collared late by a race-fit rival. That effort confirmed there's more wins in him this year and he can confirm the promise of that with Oisin Murphy in the plate now. Bobacious, Whatacracker and recent course winner Double Red head up the dangers.
