Won a Grade 2 at Lingfield as a novice last season and made a winning return on the back of wind surgery in the Haldon Cup at Exeter. Ran well behind Jonbon in the Tingle Creek next time before shaping as if still in form in Game Spirit and Grand Annual. Needs considering back in calmer waters.

Developed into a smart handicap chaser, bringing up the 5-timer with plenty to spare at Ascot (16.7f) in November. Found life tougher off revised mark since though not disgraced in the Grand Annual last time and mark is creeping back down.

Winning hurdler who's getting better with each run over fences, collared only close home in maiden at Wexford 17 days ago. Opening mark in this sphere looks no more than fair but he may still have more to offer.

Won his first 4 starts in handicap chases this season but made a bad early error when pulled up at Newton Abbot in August and reportedly bled when well held at Ascot in November. Probably needed the run at Newbury on first run since last month and interesting that Cobden rides him over Sans Bruit.

Quickly made up into a better chaser than hurdler last season, successful on his first 3 starts over fences. Added to his tally with 2 more wins this term and not disgraced back from a break when mid-field in Grand Annual. Could figure.

Mixed record this season but back to his very best when repeating last year's success in Red Rum at Aintree, again making all. That was his cup final, though, and Cobden seemingly prefers Matterhorn.

Three-time winner over hurdles and better form over fences this season, making the most of a good opportunity at Carlisle in November. Mixed record since but added another win to his tally at Ayr 10 days ago. Will find this more competitive but respected all the same.

Talented but his temperament started to look an issue for the Moore stable. Has taken better to fences than might have been expected, allowed to dominate at Huntingdon before following up in very different fashion at Kempton. Decent second at Newbury since but will find this more competitive.

Gained a first success since his 2023 Betfair Hurdle win when landing a decent 2m Ascot handicap in November. Failed to fire next 3 starts but bounced back with a good second at Newbury last month. Just as good over fences so not taken lightly on belated return to this sphere.

Scored at Uttoxeter last summer and better than ever when resuming winning ways after 4 months off at Ascot last month. 2 lb out of the weights here but he's fresher than most and thrived this time last year.
