Course winner who justified good support starting out for new yard when winning 7-runner handicap at Leicester (7f, good) 15 days ago, battling on gamely. Tongue tie added now and very much of interest again given he remains with plenty of handicapping scope on old form.

C&D winner. Latest win at Newcastle in January. Good second of 9 in handicap (13/2) at Southwell (7.1f) 39 days ago, headed close home. Admirably consistent on the whole and he merits respect again.
First run since leaving Clive Cox/after 7 months off when last of 8 in handicap at this course (8.6f, 12/1) 26 days ago, going off too hard. This should reveal more.
Quirky sort who found more at the business end than can be the case when resuming winning ways at Goodwood (1m) last June. Typically free when ending last season below form and others appeal more now returning from 6 months off for new yard.
Landed a 7f novice at Salisbury on debut at 2 yrs for Ed Walker. Not yet kicked on from an encouraging start for new yard, albeit reportedly struck into when below form seventh of 13 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 12 days ago. Still, others more persuasive.
Two hurdle wins in 2024 but not been shaping like a winner in waiting on the level, making little impression from midfield when eighth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (8f) 12 days ago. Must improve.
8-time course winner. Four wins from 23 runs last year. 28/1, ninth of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) 9 days ago, weakening 1f out. Something to find on form.

Forecasts
Gincident (6/5), Novak (7/2), Perennial (9/2), Ultramarine (8/1), How's The Guvnor (11/1), Double Time (12/1), Harbour Vision (14/1), Enthused (22/1)
GINCIDENT was yet another rejuvenated by the switch to James Owen when putting up a battling display to end a losing run at Leicester (7f) 2 weeks ago and, remaining with plenty of handicapping scope on old form, he looks to hold sound claims of following up. Consistent 6-y-o Novak rates next best, ahead of Ultramarine.
