C&D winner who gained reward for a string of consistent efforts when scoring at Southwell (1m) in March. Followed up from 2 lb higher mark under this pilot 11 days ago and he has to merit respect in this form bidding for the hat-trick.
Course winner who shaped encouragingly on his penultimate start. Quick turnaround/shorter trip both possible excuses when sixth of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 21 days ago and no surprise to see a better showing with his promising rider taking off a valuable 3 lb.
Course winner. Latest win here in January. Respectable fifth of 11 in handicap (3/1) at this course (9.5f) 39 days ago, well positioned. Not taken lightly.
Latest win at Southwell in February. Creditable sixth of 10 in handicap back at that course (7.1f) 17 days ago. Steps back up in trip now and not discounted for each-way purposes.
Crucially got a better trip through and confirmed herself still in top form when winning 11-runner handicap at this course (9.5f) in October, just holding on. Possibilities returning from 6 months off from 3 lb higher mark.
Stepped up plenty on reappearance run when winning 10-runner C&D handicap last month and matched that form under a penalty when third of 11 in minor event back at this C&D 19 days ago, running on. Can be competitive again.
One win from 21 Flat runs (gained over C&D). Eighth of 11 in handicap at this course (9.5f, 100/1) 39 days ago, well positioned. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Lightly-raced maiden. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, seventh of 9 in handicap at Chelmsford City (1m) 79 days ago, dropping away final 1f. Others have achieved more.
Irish raider who was a dual winner at 1m last year. Not disgraced after 12 months off when seventh of 13 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f) in March. Unable to get competitive after blowing the start latest but interesting runner here from a basement mark.
Thrice-raced maiden. 250/1, first run since leaving Sir Mark Todd when last of 6 in novice at Kempton (6f) 73 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Makes handicap debut with progress required.
Lightly raced 5-y-o who failed to confirm the improvement shown when runner-up over C&D when below form fifth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) in November. Need to put his best foot forward returning from 168 days off.
3-time C&D winner but struggling for form at present, ninth of 10 in handicap (25/1) at this course (9.5f) 12 days ago. Blinkers now replace the visor.

Forecasts
Billy McGarry (7/2), Dappled Light (4/1), Enzos Angel (9/2), Wyvern (6/1), King of The Dance (17/2), Gatsby Cap (10/1), Northbound (16/1), Juan Cool Dude (16/1), Genta (16/1), Mykonos St John (28/1), Olympic Quest (33/1), Rebel Cove (50/1)
A wide-open handicap and with excuses on his latest outing WYVERN is suggested returned to class 6 company. Pat Morris' 6-y-o caught the eye to suggest his turn may well be near on his penultimate run at Newcastle and this step back up in trip promises to suit. Irish raider Gatsby Cap had an excuse last time and a better showing is anticipated here. The Hat-trick seeking Billy McGarry and Enzos Angel are others to consider.
- Wyvern6/1
- Gatsby Cap10/1
