C&D winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2024. 10/3, good second of 7 in handicap at Southwell (5f) 43 days ago, headed well inside final 1f. Lines up here operating from a competitive mark back on turf and fancied to make another bold bid from the front.
Successful 3 times during a good 3-y-o campaign and final outing best excused on account of where he was drawn when eighth of 17 in handicap at York (5f, soft) in October, staying on final 1f. Could well be the type to progress further as a 4-y-o and he's one to consider.
Three wins from 11 runs last year (all at 7f) and he posted a creditable third of 11 in handicap (13/2) at Wolverhampton (6.1f) when last seen in November. Unexposed at the minimum trip but likely he'll face competition on the front end here.
Made a winning reappearance at Bath (5f) 12 months ago and completed hat-trick at Carlisle (5f) a month later. Proved well suited by the return to the minimum trip when second of 8 in handicap at Haydock (5f, heavy) in October and she's respected on return.
Cashed in off reduced mark over C&D in August and remained in good form on AW thereafter, going in again at Newcastle in October. Solid efforts in defeat on final 3 starts during a busy November but his mark has crept back up as a result.
Four wins from 12 runs last year. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, fifth of 7 in handicap at Southwell (5f, 18/5) 43 days ago, weakening having hung right final 1f. Had wind surgery subsequently and not discounted back on turf from sliding mark.
Back-to-back winner of 6f handicaps at Southwell/York last summer. Shaped as if still in good form in handful of starts on turf/AW towards the backend of last year but he does need to keep the slow starts at bay.
Latest win at Nottingham (5f, soft) in October. 14/1, not disgraced when third of 9 in handicap back at that track/trip a month later but this first start for 5 months may well bring him on.
Won at Ripon last May and went in again at Pontefract (6f) in July. Form proved a little up and down thereafter, not at best when fourth of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, soft) in October. Others appeal more for win purposes on return.

Forecasts
Hiya Maite (11/4), Northern Spirit (9/2), Duran (9/2), Angel Shared (7/1), Smart Vision (7/1), Spirit Of Applause (11/1), Havana Rum (11/1), True Promise (12/1), Albegone (18/1)
The likelihood of a strong pace ought to play firmly into the hands of DURAN, who had a productive 2024, winning 3 times, and Nigel Tinkler's charge appeals as the type who could progress again as a 4-y-o. This is competitive though, with Hiya Maite, True Promise and Angel Shared just a trio of others to consider.
