Showed a lot more on qualifying run when third of 8 in novice (40/1) at Southwell (11.1f) 65 days ago. Makes handicap debut and may have more to offer.
Showed a lot more on third outing for current yard when second of 7 in handicap at this C&D (16/1) 5 weeks ago. Can make presence felt from the same mark.
C&D winner. Tenth of 14 in handicap (125/1) at Kempton (12f) 33 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. 9 lb below last winning mark and interesting to see market support.
Course winner. 3/1, creditable second of 8 in handicap at this course (9.5f) 6 days ago, caught further back than ideal. Back up in trip. He's found one too good 5 times since scoring in October and another win can't be far away.
16/1, improved on recent efforts to win 9-runner handicap at Southwell (12.1f) 19 days ago, responding well to front-running tactics. 3 lb higher and fancied to be bang there once again.
7/1, suited by the step up in trip when second of 11 in minor event at this C&D 3 weeks ago. He shouldn't be too long in opening his account.
66/1, offered little back up in trip after 7 weeks off when eighth of 10 in handicap at this course (14f) 30 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.
Has shown little to date, well-beaten eighth of 9 in maiden (150/1) at Kempton (8f) 33 days ago. Makes handicap debut and could well prove a different proposition now significantly upped in trip.
Fared no better after 4 months off when last of 9 in minor event (40/1) at this course (9.5f) 20 days ago. Up in trip. Makes handicap debut.

Forecasts
Come On John (6/4), National Health (7/2), Bloodhound (4/1), Desert Guest (11/2), Lednikov (11/1), Avarice (20/1), Anticipating (33/1), Misaura (33/1), Artemesia (150/1)
Preference is for COME ON JOHN, who has hit the crossbar on several occasions since opening his account for this yard back in October and James Owen's 6-y-o deserves to get the rub of the green (caught further back than ideal here last week). Heading up the dangers is Lednikov, who responded well to front-running tactics to end a long losing run at Southwell recently, while Bloodhound and Desert Guest both warrant a second look, too.

- Lednikov11/1
- Bloodhound4/1
