In good heart for most of the summer and made creditable start to his jumps campaign with respectable third at Carlisle, only to be found out in a better race when last seen in November. Makes appeal returning from break into much calmer waters.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1¾m) who showed aptitude for hurdling on his debut in July. Let down by jumping on handicap debut in this sphere October and has been ticking over on the Level since. Not ruled out from his current mark if he can brush up his jumping.
Off the mark at Kelso last May but pulled up in handicap chase on return/belated debut over fences at Carlisle in November. Likely needed the run after 10 weeks off when finishing down the field here last month and while he should strip fitter, he has a bit to find in this company.
Shaped like a non-stayer when third of 11 in handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f, good to soft, 22/1) in September but ran to sort of race when pulled-up at Sedgefield when last seen in October. Makes reappearance in race where others have stronger claims.
Promising bumper fourth in May 2022 but hasn't stood much racing since. Wasn't seen to best effect when short of room/pulled-up on handicap debut in May of last year but has a bit to find now returning from 9-month absence.
Modest maiden hurdler for Shay Slevin and looks as though he is going to struggle off this sort of mark for new connections.
Has been in fine fettle since returning this winter, winning a pair of handicaps (one over C&D) and far from disgraced in a couple of third placed efforts here since the turn of the year. One to be interested in again.
Signs of ability in maiden hurdles last term and bettered previous handicap efforts when fifth at Musselburgh in November, having been left poorly placed the way the race unfolded. Will need to step forward again if he's to trouble the best of these.
Struck at the third time of asking over hurdles at Sedgefield but gradually regressed for Nigel Hawke. Drops in trip for stable debut and one to note in the betting.
Scored at Cartmel in August and back on track when third of 10 in handicap hurdle at Wetherby (16f, soft) on Boxing Day. Market support proved unjustified when beaten at Market Rasen last time (not helped by jumping errors) but no surprise to see him bounce back.
Successful at this venue in December 2023 before landing double at Catterick following month. Form has been in and out since, followed a promising run with a below-par one when seventh of 12 in handicap hurdle at Catterick (15.7f, good, 20/1) 31 days ago. Capable but not one to hang your hat on.

Forecasts
Mister Smarty (9/4), Treasured Company (4/1), Skiddaw (4/1), Kabuki (11/2), V Twelve (8/1), Belle Na Bann (9/1), The Best Way (10/1), Geordies Dream (14/1), Chillhi (16/1), Feach Amach (25/1), Right Now (40/1), Mr Globalist (66/1)
Consistent performer MISTER SMARTY has proved himself effective in this grade over C&D, and he can regain the winning thread at the expense of V Twelve, who should fare better back in calmer waters. Treasured Company was well backed last time, and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back from that disappointing run.
