Looked a useful prospect when making a winning chase debut at Ludlow on final outing for Sam Thomas. Pulled up both starts over fences for new yard last season but showed ability remains back hurdling at the start of the summer and cashed in on a career-low mark at Hereford latest.
£22,000 purchase having finished placed all 4 starts in Irish points. Improved plenty for stiffer test of stamina when making second hurdles start a winning one at Hexham 6 weeks ago (20.1f). Well held under a penalty at Carlisle and now goes handicapping.
Got off to a winning start in clear-cut fashion in a Down Royal bumper in May. Changed hands for £85,000 soon after and made a promising start to hurdling career when third in 2m novice at Warwick last month. Hooded and looked a shade awkward when second here last month. Handicap debut.
Tongue tied when opening his account at Uttoxeter in October. Below-par fifth under a penalty there last month but not written off going into handicap company for the first time on what looks a workable mark. Hood removed.
Fitted with cheekpieces and a different proposition on handicap debut/reappearance when successful at Carlisle last month. Short-price to follow up back at that venue but proved to be a major disappointment.
Continued theme of race-by-race progress when third in a Carlisle novice last month. In good handicaps ahead this handicap debut but mark does ask for more.
First worthwhile form when third of 8 on heavy-ground 2m novice here 3 weeks ago. Back up in trip and opening mark has suffered as a result.
Made the frame in points and has shown promise over hurdles, effort flattening out over 22.7f at Kelso 18 days ago. This could be his ideal trip.
Still looking for first success but just about his best effort yet when second of 11 at Market Rasen a month ago. Claims with a repeat.

Forecasts
Marlacoo (11/8), Diamond Dealer (9/2), Jazz King (11/2), Horsesomeharry (7/1), Just Chasing May (15/2), Chasingouttheblues (12/1), Looking Splendid (12/1), Bridge Court (16/1), Glen Road (20/1), Joie More (28/1)
MARLACOO didn't look totally straightforward in a 2m novice here last time but there's definite scope from this mark based on his bumper win in Ireland, so he gets the tentative vote. Jazz King got the job done last time so he's a threat, along with Just Chasing Mary.
