Won 2 heavy-ground handicaps (at up to 21.6f) last term but ended campaign with a couple of poor runs and returns with plenty to prove. Had wind operation.
Winner of his first 4 starts over hurdles last term and shaped really well when second of 15 in handicap chase at Bangor (20.3f, soft, 9/4) on debut over fences 23 days ago. Likely more to come in this sphere yet.
Firmly on the up over hurdles in January, scoring twice in novice company around 2m4f at Wincanton. Looks the part for chasing and was making a very promising start in this discipline when coming down 2 out at Cheltenham on return in October. Big player.
Winning pointer/bumper performer who won 2 of his 4 starts (at up to 20.6f) in that sphere last term and shaped pretty well sent chasing, when third at Market Rasen (21.4f, good) 52 days ago. Entitled to build on that and merits consideration.
Gradually worked his way back to form last season, scoring twice over this C&D. Ran poorly on return at Chepstow, however, and others are more convincing.
Three-time winner (at up to 20.9f) in 2022/23 who shaped as if retaining all of his ability, back from 19 months off, when good third of 15 in handicap chase at Bangor (20.3f, soft) 23 days ago. Likely contender.
Runner-up sole start in Irish points and went one better in maiden at Chepstow (19.5f) on hurdling debut in February. Ran well behind an improver at Ffos Las next time and could still have more to offer on chase/handicap debut back from 8 months off.

Forecasts
Lowry's Bar (5/4), The Doyen Chief (10/3), Lord Of Thunder (18/5), Garincha (7/1), Tommys Charm (18/1), Stormy Flight (25/1), Quel Destin (25/1)
Preference is for LOWRY'S BAR, who ran a cracker on his chasing bow at Bangor last month and remains with potential over the larger obstacles. Lord of Thunder would have gone close, but for coming down late on, on his Cheltenham chase debut and is feared most, whilst Garincha is also much respected.
- Lowry's Bar5/4
- Lord Of Thunder18/5
- Garincha7/1
