Racing TV Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle

Off the mark on second of 4 starts in maiden/novice hurdles at Musselburgh (19.8f) last December. Ended the season in slightly disappointing fashion but sound-enough star to life in handicaps, fourth of 9 back from a break at Carlisle in October.

Lightly-raced hurdler who following a further 16 months off, shaped as if retaining his ability when fourth in a Kelso maiden in March. Made a bold bid to land a touch when collared close home at Hexham 3 weeks ago and this a relatively quick turnaround by his standards for handicap debut.

Multiple-hurdles winner last year and managed to win over fences at Sedgefield in October. Also second back there 17 days ago but no real surprise he's back hurdling as he hasn't really looked a natural chaser. Cheekpieces also on.

Fitted with cheekpieces and a different proposition on handicap debut/reappearance when successful here 3 weeks ago. 6 lb rise probably underestimates him with prospect of more to come.

Lightly-raced and poor completion rate (primarily over fences) since landing an Ayr novice hurdle back in December 2021. Latest Carlisle third shows some ability remains but others still more persuasive.

Cashed in on a reduced mark over fences at Kelso in March. Back in a better race and suffered heavy defeat back there 2 months later. Balance of hurdles form suggests he'll come up short aged 11.

Had a breathing operation ahead of return and sound fourth of 11 over 17.2f here in October. Race may have come too soon back here last time given he was disappointing and he's now up in trip.

Returned to form with cheekpieces refitted when narrowly landing a 6-runner Wetherby handicap (21.2f, good) a month ago. Matched that form when third from 4 lb higher over 24.6f here 12 days ago so she's in better heart than most. Back in trip.

Back-to-back chase winner in 2021/22 but little to shout about in a very light 2022/23 and he's been off the best part of 2 years.

Justified support in first-time cheekpieces when seeing off 10 rivals at Newcastle in January but held back by mistakes both starts to end the campaign. Cheekpieces off for reappearance.

Maiden who never really looked like justifying strong support on return/chase debut following a breathing operation in October. Since left Susan Corbett and back over timber.
