Wide-margin winner of a handicap hurdle at Ludlow in March. Too bad to be true at Punchestown on final run of last season and this French import is well worth a second look now switched to fences.
Firmly on the up when racking up a handicap hurdle hat-trick last winter. Ended 2023/24 campaign with a cracking effort in defeat at Ayr (24.3f, soft) and he'll be a danger to all if taking to fences at the first attempt.
Dual hurdles winner who left chase debut effort well behind when cosily landing a 3-runner affair at Market Rasen (3m, good) a fortnight ago. 4 lb rise probably underestimates him and there should be better to come.
Winner of 4 of his 7 starts between the flags and opened Rules account at the thirteenth attempt at Hereford (21f, good) last month. Appeared to have a bit left up his sleeve when going in again over the same C&D recently and likely to make a bold bid to complete the hat-trick.
Looked on the up when scoring at Exeter last November and found just one too good in a handicap hurdle at Chepstow (23.6f, good) during the spring. Some novicey mistakes took their toll when fourth on chase debut on latest start in May and he's capable of better in this sphere.

Montregard (13/8), Moodofthemoment (3/1), Herakles Westwood (4/1), In d'Or (5/1), Danton (17/2), Chosen Templar (12/1), Tout Sur Moi (12/1)
Though he only beat two rivals at Market Rasen, MONTREGARD went about his business in the manner of one who has a good deal more to offer in this sphere and he is taken to confirm that impression by following up here. The hat-trick seeking Moodofthemoment is an obvious threat, while chase debutants Herakles Westwood and In d'Or are both interesting, along with Danton, who should leave his chase debut display well behind in time.
