Won back to back on turf at Beverley and Leicester this autumn. Only a respectable effort on AW latest but may fare better back on the grass.
Has good Doncaster record, including a win the Spring Mile on heavy ground in March. Keeping on when hampered late on over C&D a fortnight ago and has to enter the reckoning.
Improved when winning handicaps at Haydock (5f, good) and Epsom (6f, good to soft) in July. Brings un unexposed profile back from 4 months off but the 7f trip and soft ground are unknowns.
Falling in the weights but hard to fancy on what he's done in 3 outings over much longer trips since joining this yard.
Successful over 7f at Catterick (heavy) in April and creditable placed efforts on all outings since, on the latest third of 11 back at Catterick 3 weeks ago. No reason why he won't figure prominently again.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2023 but took a big step back in the right direction when second of 8 at Newbury (6f, heavy) 15 days ago. Blinkers back on. Has good chance on form.
Won over 6f at Catterick (soft) in May. Mostly at least respectable efforts since, including fourth of 11 back at Catterick (7f, heavy, 9/2) 11 days ago. Ought to be competitive.
Eleven runs since last win in 2023. Below form eleventh of 18 in handicap at York (7f, soft, 10/1) 29 days ago but her yard's fine record in this race makes her a dangerous one to discount.
Revels in the mud, making all at Redcar (7f, soft) on Tuesday. Effectively 7 lb higher (5 lb penalty and 2 lb out of handicap) but he still can't be discounted under these ground conditions.

Forecasts
Look Back Smiling (5/2), Ey Up Its Jazz (7/2), Mister Sox (4/1), It Just Takes Time (9/2), Beauty Choice (11/1), No Nay Nicki (16/1), Capote's Dream (18/1), Fahrenheit Seven (18/1), Educate (100/1)
CAPOTE'S DREAM is well treated if he can build on his latest back-to-form second at Newbury. Second choice is Look Back Smiling who wasn't seen to best effect here on Futurity day and won on this card last season. The consistent Beauty Choice completes the shortlist.
