Azahara Palace³⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-1| J: Oisin Murphy| T: H Morrison| OR: 76

Tele Red²⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 10-0| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke| OR: 75| D

8/1

Triple winner in 2023. Campaigned more sparingly this year, though latest third of 9 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good, 5/1) 24 days ago, when in need of a stronger gallop, was a sound effort. Merits consideration up in trip.

Form: 5-25743

(7)

Young Fire^v²⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 9-13| J: D Nolan| T: D O'Meara| OR: 74| D

6/1

Finally cashed in on falling mark in 7-runner handicap (3/1) at Leicester (10f, heavy) 10 days ago, always holding on. Has to be taken very seriously given he escapes a penalty for that.

Form: 392361

(14)

Form: 513147

(11)

50/1

35/10, won 9-runner claimer at Deauville (12.4f) 83 days ago. First run for yard after leaving S. Wattel and balance of his French form suggests his mark is on the high side.

Form: 237164

Form: 72542

(13)

Shifter⁶²

Age: 5| Weight: 9-5| J: Paula Muir⁽³⁾| T: W Storey| OR: 66| D

16/1

Latest win at Redcar in May. 17/2, seventh of 11 in handicap at Redcar (10f, good to firm) 62 days ago, nearest finish. Eased further 2 lb so she's not without interest.

Form: 130567

(8)

Form: 6-57595

(12)

Powerful Response^p²⁰

15/2

Forecasts

Azahara Palace (7/2), Skinny Malinka (4/1), Croeso Cymraeg (6/1), Powerful Response (15/2), Tele Red (8/1), Monteria (10/1), Roxanne (12/1), Poet's Dawn (16/1), Shifter (16/1), Miaswell (22/1), Lunar Jet (25/1), This Years Love (33/1), Contrast (33/1), Young Fire (40/1), Mandarb (50/1)

CROESO CYMRAEG is firmly into the veteran stage of his career but he took advantage of a drop in the weights at Leicester 10 days ago and given he escapes a penalty for that apprentice win, his follow-up claims appear to be bright. Azahara Palace is unexposed over this trip so enters the reckoning, along with Monteria.
