Successful on 3 of his 5 starts last season and returned with a good third over 6f here in January. Mixed bag followed but he returned to form when fifth in 9-runner C&D handicap in August and lines up here operating from last winning mark.

Friendless in betting but confirmed she retains all of her ability after 5 months off when good third of 8 in C&D handicap on debut for new yard 3 weeks ago. Can give another good account for all this looks tougher from widest draw.
C&D winner. Very good third of 12 in handicap at this C&D (6/1) 14 days ago, not ideally placed. Remains unexposed on all weather and she's one to be interested in from this sort of mark.
4-y-o who has relished the return to synthetics in recent weeks, completing the hat-trick in style of one with plenty more to come in 14-runner C&D handicap 7 days ago. Makes plenty of appeal under a penalty in bid to land the 4-timer.
Both wins have come at Sandown and ran at least as well in defeat from 4 lb higher when runner-up back there (7f, soft) 26 days ago, doing well under the circumstances given he came from even further back than the winner. Merits respect back on all weather in this sort of form.
Progressive in 3 maidens at up to 1m, successful at second attempt at Chelmsford (1m) in May. Well held in Royal Ascot handicap next time but quickly back to form returned to calmer waters when fourth of 8 in C&D handicap 3 weeks ago. Return to 1m may suit ideally judged on that run.
Didn't need to be at best to justify cramped odds here in August and posted an improved display when second in a C&D handicap 19 days ago, beaten only by a fellow handicap debutante who challenged much later. Merits respect nudged up 1 lb.
10/3 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Newcastle (6f) 29 days ago. Boasts an unexposed profile on all-weather and that may not prove his limit.
Opened his account after 7 months off in a Chelmsford maiden (7f) in April. However, not beaten a rival in trio of turf handicaps since, including in blinkers (left off here) at Doncaster (7f) 67 days ago. Return to all-weather surface needs to spark a major revival.
Opened account for the year at Doncaster (6f) in May. Excuses at Nottingham in June but disappointing when ninth of 10 in handicap returned to first-named venue (6f, good to firm) later that month. Betting can guide returning from 102 days off.
Course winner. Respectable sixth of 12 in handicap (13/2) at Yarmouth (6f, firm) 21 days ago, nearest finish. Steps back up in trip now but he remains 5 lb above last winning mark.

Forecasts
Mezzo Soprano (85/40), Chalk Mountain (7/2), Upscale (6/1), Asimov (15/2), D Flawless (17/2), Aljari (11/1), Robbo (14/1), Hat Toss (16/1), Supreme King (28/1), Tyke (40/1), Completed (66/1)
CHALK MOUNTAIN completed the hat-trick in the style of one with plenty more to offer when landing a C&D handicap last week and, turned out under a penalty, he looks a big player again. Mezzo Soprano, following her encouraging third over this track/trip recently, is another to consider, along with Upscale and Asimov.
