Irish import who opened his account at the fifth attempt for present connections at Carlisle (7f, good to soft) last month. Remains feasibly treated up 4 lb but may find one or two too good this time all the same.
Made a winning reappearance over a mile at Pontefract in May and didn't do much wrong when fourth of 11 here 8 days later. Form has taken a turn for the worse during second half of this season, though, and he now has a bit to prove.
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who was better than ever when winning 6-runner handicap at Catterick (7f, soft) on return in May. Latest effort at Ascot was poor but she's effective when the mud is flying and could have a part to play from stall 3 here if able to bounce back.
Regained the winning thread at Lingfield (7f, AW) during the spring and hasn't disgraced himself both subsequent starts, without managing to land a meaningful blow. Placed on 4 of his 6 previous starts here and merits respect with conditions to suit from a decent draw.
Belatedly added to 2-y-o maiden success here when landing a heavy-ground handicap at the Curragh (6f) in April. Followed that with a near-miss at at Roscommon recently but he hasn't been treated kindly by the draw. Engaged 5.05 here Friday.
Successful under testing conditions at Ayr as a 2-y-o and, having missed the majority of 2023, he doubled his tally at the same course in June. Solid placed efforts on 3 of his 4 subsequent starts and another bold show could be on the way.
Wasn't knocked about on debut at Haydock last June and stepped up on that when scoring a month later at Kempton. However, absent since finishing sixth of 8 on return at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in April and needs to get back on track starting out for new yard here.
Good pedigree and made winning start to his career at Doncaster in May. Completely misfired on handicap bow at Newmarket but firmly back on track when seeing off 6 rivals over this C&D (good to soft) last time and a 4 lb rise for that is fair enough.
Winner of an AW novice at 2 yrs and left his tame reappearance effort well behind when going close in a soft-ground C&D handicap in June. Has failed to reproduce that form in 3 subsequent starts but he's nevertheless interesting back here from a handy draw.

PITNEY produced his best effort yet when going down narrowly over C&D in June and, though not in the same form since, he will have every chance if able to get back on track returned to this venue. Cori Glory, who promises to be suited by this sharp track, is an appealing each-way proposition, while Boy Douglas and Legal Reform are others to consider. Theme Park is on a good mark but conditions are a worry where he is concerned.
