Kingman colt who made a promising start to his career when third of 12 in a Sandown novice in June, nearest at the finish. Shade disappointing he couldn't build on that back there the following month but it's still early days and he's an obvious player on form upped in trip.

200,000 gns yearling, Camelot colt. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to useful 2-y-o 4.5f-6f winner Zinziberine. Ran to just a modest level in a 7f Newbury novice on debut 48 days ago but is clearly thought capable of better.

Forecasts

Silver Peak (11/8), King Casper (9/4), Aegean Sea (5/2), Caledonian (9/2), Methgal (6/1), Sir Dinadan (16/1), Blue Tempus (33/1)

Verdict

SILVER PEAK, a 7-figure buy, was held back by inexperience on his debut at Kempton just over a fortnight ago but still pulled clear of the rest and seems sure to do better, so he's taken to make his second start a winning one. King Casper impressed when scoring here last month and is highly respected under a penalty, while Aegean Sea could yet build on his promising debut.
