Multiple winner for Tom George and back to form from his reduced mark for this yard over slightly shorter here in recent weeks, finishing 3 lengths second (reopposing Captain Attridge third) 4 weeks ago.
Came good on 2m Hereford handicap debut in May and placed on all 3 outings since, third of 9 over 2m here on the latest , with the reopposing Bannister ahead in third.
Still a maiden but latest Stratford second shows he can be very competitive from his current mark. Has first-time blinkers added to his tongue tie now.
Fit from the Flat when getting off the mark over hurdles in 17f Newton Abbot handicap in June. Good second of 10 at Worcester (2m, good) since. Likely to be in the shake-up again.
Got off the mark over C&D last June but hasn't offered much in 2 comeback outings this summer. Would need to see market support to consider.
Failed to win on the Flat for Michael Bell and over hurdles for James Owen but struck at the first time of asking over hurdles in 2m Stratford handicap in June. Beaten favourite over 20.5f here only 3 days later but no surprise were he to resume his progression back at shorter.
10/3, career best when winning 12-runner maiden at Stratford (2m, good) 34 days ago, driven clear. Brings obvious unexposed potential to this handicap debut.
Edged out by Iolani at Cartmel before making a winning start for her new stable at Uttoxeter (2m, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Should remain competitive up 6 lb.
A three-time winner last summer but he struggled over hurdles at the starts if this summer and it's been a similar story back on the Flat lately.
Remains a maiden after 17 runs but he arrives in decent nick, third of 9 at Cartmel on latest start 4 weeks ago.
Veteran who snapped a losing run when shading a tight finish in a selling handicap at Cartmel (17f, soft) in May. Not in the same form at Hexham since.
Yet to get close to his fairly useful bumper form in this sphere but he did offer his first encouragement in handicaps when third of 15 at Hexham (2m, good) last time. That bumper ability provides hope he can build on that.
No impact in 3 starts over hurdles. More chance in handicaps but he's running from well out of the weights on this first attempt.

Forecasts
Don Rafael (9/2), Callin Baton Rouge (5/1), Heart Above (6/1), Climate Precedent (6/1), Brian's Jet (7/1), Greatness Awaits (8/1), Captain Attridge (10/1), Bannister (12/1), Evenwood Sonofagun (12/1), Gavin (20/1), Jeepydoff Meel (33/1), Iolani (40/1), Kauto Castillo (125/1)
In a competitive finale a chance is taken on HEART ABOVE building on his latest improved third at Hexham as his bumper ability suggests there could be more to come now he seems to be getting to grips with hurdling. Dan Skelton's Climate Precedent heads the many possible dangers along with Don Rafael and Greatness Awaits.
