Smart performer who ran best race when second of 12 in handicap at Ascot (8f, good, 14/1) 19 days ago, albeit well positioned. Extra 2f here no problem and he's respected.

Found a little more progress when successful at Kempton (1½m) in January but down the field in competitive handicaps since, albeit not seen to best effect at Goodwood latest. This easier at least and could go well.

Won a valuable handicap over this trip at Newmarket last summer. Hit a bit of a lull this season but took a step back in the right direction in this headgear when seventh of 17 in handicap at Goodwood (9.9f, good to firm, 22/1) 16 days ago. Not taken lightly having been eased another 2 lb.

Useful performer in France but handicapper has taken no chances on UK/yard debut.

Three wins from 11 runs this year, the latest win at Windsor in July. Good runner-up efforts last 2 starts and should be in the mix again.

Improved again when doubling his tally for the year in impressive fashion at Lingfield in March, tanking through the race. Well held back on turf at Chester since so needs to bounce back after a break.

Improved model this term having been gelded, scoring twice and running well again when second at Newmarket. Bit disappointing at Yarmouth since but type to bounce back.

Caught the eye at Thirsk before shaping as if a return to this trip will suit when third at Chepstow last week. Remains one to be interested in off career low-mark.
