Won 8-runner handicap (11/1) on the AW course here (6f) 27 days ago, always holding on. 9 lb higher back on turf but that needn't debar another big run from this 6-y-o.
C&D winner. 3 wins from 12 runs this year. Latest win at Wolverhampton in July. Seventh of 8 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, good, 17/2) 23 days ago. Others more persuasive from a win point of view.
Latest win at Windsor in July. Good third of 15 in handicap at the same course (6f, good to firm, 12/1) 14 days ago. Should have a part to play, particularly if the ground is good or faster. Yard also saddles Roman Spring.
Five wins from 19 Flat runs. Fourth of 5 in handicap (8/1) at Yarmouth (5.2f, good to soft) 26 days ago. 2 lb lower than for his success on the AW here in April and he's a leading contender.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, eighth of 12 in handicap (33/1) at Nottingham (6.1f, good) 53 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time and he needs to get back on track.
Tongue strap on for 1st time, seventh of 8 in handicap (33/1) at this C&D (firm) 9 days ago. Easy enough to look elsewhere.
18/1, ninth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 20 days ago. Would have a chance if back to his best and eased 3 lb since latest start.
Winner at Leicester in April. 40/1, pulled up in handicap at that course (6f, good) 86 days ago, shaping as though amiss. Percentage call is to look elsewhere.
C&D winner. One win from 23 Flat runs. Winner here in May. Last of 11 in handicap (11/1) at Yarmouth (6f, good) 19 days ago. Looks vulnerable.
Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs. 9/2, fourth of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 12 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Others more persuasive on balance.
C&D winner. Latest win here in June. 11/4, respectable fourth of 9 in minor event at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 13 days ago, doing too much too soon. Place possibilities.
Remains a maiden after 21 Flat runs. Fifth of 6 in handicap (6/1) at this C&D (good to firm) 37 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time and he needs to raise his game.
Lightly-raced maiden. 80/1, fourth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 20 days ago, never nearer. Opposable.

Forecasts
Lahina Bay (10/3), Coast (4/1), Big Bard (4/1), Kento (17/2), Phoenix Moon (11/1), Roman Spring (11/1), Moreginplease (14/1), Arlecchino's Gift (16/1), Watermelon Sugar (16/1), Muy Muy Guapo (18/1), Match Anthem (22/1), Morning Suit (33/1), Tilsworth Turf (50/1)
BIG BARD regained the winning thread on the all-weather here last month and, still feasibly treated off 9 lb higher and versatile ground-wise, he is taken to go in again. Next on the list is Watermelon Sugar, who is also on a workable mark, and Lahina Bay is also feared on the back of a series of solid efforts. Match Anthem is edging down the weights and may come good before long.
