If SHOWBOATED can translate his recent improved second in maiden company back to a handicap he's the one to beat. Musical Diva was second off this mark over C&D last Saturday and is next on the list ahead of Northern Prince, who can have a line put through his latest Ripon run and was only narrowly denied at Thirsk prior to that.
