Verdict

Supporting a 16-race maiden isn't generally advisable but MARAYEL is an exception on the back of his eye-catching effort over a mile here a fortnight ago. The combination of this drop in grade and step up in trip could be just the ticket. C&D winners Sunset In Paris and Forever Proud are feared most in that order of preference, but cases can also be made for Come On John and the selection's stablemate Daphne May.
