Off the mark for this yard at Musselburgh (19.8f) in December and progressed steadily since, latest when winning 9-runner handicap hurdle at Market Rasen in May. Creditable sixth at Uttoxeter last time and may not have reached his limit.
Useful hurdler at best for Fergal O'Brien, winning 4 times from 6 starts in the 2022/23 campaign. However, absent for 14 months subsequently and yet to fire for present stable.
Got off the mark in impressive style, after 4 months off, in conditional jockeys' handicap at Kelso (20.9f) in October. Hasn't fired on either start since, however. Tried in a tongue strap.
Career best when winning 11-runner handicap hurdle (5/4) at this C&D (good to firm) 35 days ago, easing clear. Stable is firing now and every chance he's still ahead of the handicapper, so leading claims.
Dual point winner who was runner-up in a hunter chase at Cartmel (21.2f) on Rules debut in May. Firmly back on track when scoring over C&D in good style recently and he's still unexposed under Rules.
Runner-up on completed start in points and in handicap hurdle at Southwell in April. Failed to make an impact over fences but, with blinkers on, he was right back on track when scoring at Hexham 3 weeks ago.
Placed for the second time in handicaps when second of 7 at Downpatrick on penultimate outing and was shaping as if still in form prior to falling over C&D last time. Not dismissed.
Having dropped to a career-low mark after 7 months off, took advantage when winning over C&D (good to firm) last month and backed it up with a creditable second to Buy Some Time 10 days ago. Should get a lot closer to that rival this time.
Eleven runs since last win in 2022. 11/1, creditable third of 10 in handicap hurdle at this C&D (good to firm) 10 days ago. Likely to be on the premises again.
Successful twice in handicaps for Tristan Davidson and left his stable debut run behind when second at Hexham (23.3f) at the start of June. Rare poor effort over C&D 10 days ago and he's out of the weights here.

Forecasts
Fever Dream (7/4), Buy Some Time (4/1), Dalileo (7/1), Jeteye (8/1), Lihyan (17/2), Diamond State (12/1), Shantou Moon (16/1), Paddy Elvis (20/1), Kilbrainy (33/1), Not What It Seems (33/1), Accidental Rebel (50/1)
FEVER DREAM's stable is in much better form at present and he had plenty in hand when opening his account over C&D last time, so he's an obvious choice to follow up. Fellow last-time-out winners Jeteye and Buy Some Time are obvious dangers in a competitive race for the grade.
