Naval Force²³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-10| J: Gavin Ryan| T: Donnacha O'Brien| OR: 91| D

9/2

Won first of his 2 starts as a juvenile and despite still looking a work in progress, capitalised on the drop back down in grade when scoring on return at Roscommon (10.4f) in May. Struggled in the King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot (12f, firm, 50/1) 23 days ago. This is easier.

Form: 14-10

The Equator²⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-10| J: Declan McDonogh| T: A P O'Brien| OR: 101| D

1/1

Won 9-runner maiden at Leopardstown (10f, heavy) in April. 17/2, good 6½ lengths fifth of 11 to Illinois in Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot (14.2f, good to firm) 24 days ago, keeping on gradually from rear. Looks a stayer, so not sure marked drop back in trip will be ideal, but he can improve again.

Form: 4-145

Forecasts

The Equator (1/1), Sumptuary Law (7/2), Naval Force (9/2), Going Remote (15/2), Vestigia (14/1), Inner Success (20/1)

SUMPTUARY LAW is thriving and is taken to get the 4-timer up with this trip likely to suit her better than The Equator, who is surely more of a stayer. Inner Success could also feature.
