Won 2 juvenile hurdles for Adam West last summer and while she has failed to fire in 2 starts for present connections, this represents a significant drop in class. One to monitor closely in the betting.
Showed some ability in maiden hurdles and upped her game when third of 9 on handicap bow over this C&D last month. There's a suspicion that she may have been somewhat flattered by her proximity to the first 2 that day but it was nevertheless a step in the right direction.
Reached the frame 3 times in maiden/novice hurdles before improving to make a winning handicap debut over 2½m here in September. However, a trio of heavy defeats have followed and she now finds herself with a bit to prove.
Shaped encouragingly in a race not run to suit after 7 months off at Newton Abbot (16.8f, good) and she shouldn't be judged too harshly on subsequent display at the same course (race wasn't run to suit). Looks dangerous having slipped to an attractive mark.
Two from 2 upon joining Fergal O'Brien during the autumn and took a step firmly back in the right direction on third run for this yard at Hexham (16.2f, good to soft) in May. Reproduction of that effort would give her a serious each-way chance.
Well held in bumpers and while she has shown ability in maiden/novice company in this sphere, a sizeable step forward will be needed if she's to ruffle feathers now pitched into a handicap.
Remains winless following 9 attempts but, to her credit, she has finished in the money on 4 occasions, including when third in a 10-runner Stratford handicap (16.3f, good to soft) last time. Still, more will be needed if she's to open her account.
Some improvement sent handicapping on her last 2 starts, albeit she did disappoint with her finishing effort having looked a big threat at the second-last at Southwell (20.4f, good) last time. Perhaps this drop back in trip will help and she's not without each-way hope.
Winner of Hereford maiden hurdle back in February 2022 and placed in 2m handicaps on her last 3 starts, including when runner-up on return from a year off at Fakenham in March. Couldn't rule out off the same mark with that run under her belt.
Won her first 3 handicaps in 2022/23 but has found life tougher since and she's hard to warm to on the back of a poor effort over this C&D last time.
Pulled up both starts in hunters for Paul King but showed more when third back hurdling on first start since rejoining this yard at Huntingdon in May. Though not in the same form in a handicap chase next time, she could have a part to play here with cheekpieces refitted/tongue strap applied.
Successful off a 5 lb higher mark at Market Rasen last summer and a line can be drawn through her latest effort there (all but came down at the fourth-last). Possibilities if she puts her best foot forward.

Forecasts
Vitani (5/1), Culligran (6/1), Dreaming Diamond (6/1), Ryder's Rock (13/2), Vision Of Hope (7/1), Aviewofthestars (8/1), Karannelle (10/1), Quick Of The Night (12/1), Well Vicky (16/1), Hedera Park (16/1), Olivia Kate (20/1), Pump It Up (33/1)
It will be worth noting if VITANI is strong in the market, having dropped 4 lb in the weights since her latest start, which was in a Grade 3 Cheltenham handicap. She could be seen in an altogether different light now dropped in class on what will be just her third start for the Skelton yard. Karannelle has also edged down the weights and is one of several dangers, along with Pump It Up and Dreaming Diamond.
