Unreliable type. 5 lengths fifth of 8 to Cracksking in handicap at this C&D (16/1) 29 days ago, carrying head awkwardly and not quicken. Eased 3 lb ahead of this but others more appealing for win purposes.
Course winner who rattled off a tremendous 6-timer earlier in his career for George Boughey. Joined present connections for 130,000 gns and acquitted himself well on 3 of his 4 starts in Bahrain during the winter. Player on pick of his form back on these shores.
Landed a Newcastle maiden on final outing of 2023 and has stepped forward with each outing this season, nicely on top at the line when landing 8 runner C&D handicap 4 weeks ago by 1¾ lengths from The Goat. 5 lb rise shouldn't prevent him playing a big part again.
Lightly-raced winner on Flat. Disappointing sole outing over hurdles for Josh Halley and he was never involved on his recent yard debut when 7¾ lengths last of 8 to Cracksking in handicap at this C&D 29 days ago, albeit not ideally placed. This should reveal more.
Relished testing conditions when a wide-margin winner on handicap debut at Goodwood (12f, heavy) last summer. Posted a series of tame efforts thereafter but big step back in right direction when 1¾ lengths second of 8 to Cracksking in C&D handicap 4 weeks ago. Claims with a repeat.
Winner here and at Sandown last summer who wasn't disgraced in the Cambridgeshire later last season but bit to prove returning from a break after finishing down the field in several events in Bahrain. One of 3 runners from this yard.
Long time between drinks but he added another solid placed effort to his name when runner-up at Lingfield (12f) on his penultimate start and he can have his latest run at that venue ignored (shuffled back under 3f out). Likely he'll be thereabouts.
Still capable of useful form on AW last spring. Not seen since a below-par run here last July (final start for Robyn Brisland). The betting should guide on return for Barry Brennan.
Bounced right back to the pick of his French form when running out a 50/1 winner for this yard at Wolverhampton (12.2f) in November. Respectable fifth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (12.4f) later that month, needing stronger gallop and market may prove a good guide back from 7 months off.
Gained reward for his consistency when recording a first win of the season at Beverley (9.9f, good to firm) 2 starts back and found only an unexposed 3-y-o too strong in Cumberland Plate at Carlisle (11.2f) 8 days ago. Respected back on AW.

CRACKSKING built on previous promise this term when running out a good winner of a C&D handicap 4 weeks ago, nicely on top at the line from the re-opposing The Goat. A 5 lb rise may not be enough to anchor him and he can confirm placings over his old rival. Ludo's Landing and Way of Life are others that need factoring in.
